Alan Shawn Feinstein Emergency Food Pantry For Seniors

The Emergency Food Pantry (EFP) was founded to help support those clients who need more nutritional assistance than just the five weekday noontime meals that we currently provide through our Home Delivered program. The EFP is also available to those elders who have been accepted into the meal program, but are currently waiting for space on a delivery route. In addition, the Meals on Wheels’ Caseworkers provide meals to their needy clients during their scheduled wellness visits.

Due to the increase in need for food assistance programs throughout the state, we have expanded the Emergency Food Program to serve more of our community. Now low income families and individuals with disablities living in the  02904, 02908, and 02911 areas who are in need of emergency food assistance may visit the food pantry once a month.

Hours: Monday, 9-12, Wednesday 11-1, and Friday 9-12.

The food pantry is supported by Meals on Wheels and the generous contributions of the community. If you would like to make a donation or volunteer your time, please call 401-351-6700.
