Senator Jack Reed continues to show his strong support of Meals on Wheels of Rhode Island by participating once again in the Senior Hunger Awareness Campaign “March for Meals” of 2017.
“Meals on Wheels of Rhode Island helps people stay healthy and safe at home, but it also keeps them connected and bolsters our communities.  Their clients get a nutritious meal and their volunteers get great conversation,” said Senator Reed.  “I am especially honored to help deliver a meal to someone like Mr. Cameron, a World War II veteran who served our country.  This is an opportunity to say thanks and help give back to those who have given so much.”
