Meals on Wheels of Rhode Island is proud to be the philanthropic partner of the Providence Warwick Convention & Visitors Bureau Providence Restaurant Weeks, taking place now through Jan. 25, during which patrons are invited to “Take a Bite Out of Winter” and dine at the city’s finest and trendiest restaurants with an affordable prix fixe menu.
“Every weekday, Meals on Wheels of RI works to help homebound older adults throughout the state stay well nourished with a healthy lunchtime meal,” said Executive Director Meghan Grady. “Nutrition is at the center of of our mission, and partnering with an event focused on educating Rhode Islanders about all the delicious and excellent dining options available right here in the Ocean State is a natural fit. We are also supportive of encouraging Rhode Islanders to support their local establishments.”
During Restaurant Weeks, nearly 100 restaurants are offering three-course lunches at $16.95, three-course dinners at $29.95, $34.95 and $49.95 per diner, as well as two-for-one specials. You can also enter for a chance to win tickets to show at the Providence Performing Arts Center and dinner at The Capital Grille.
