#MORETHANAMEAL

The meals provide nourishment for my body, but those who deliver my meals nourish my soul, my life. They have all become my friends, my family, my lifeline.
I don’t know what I would do without you all in my life. God bless all of you.
I’m very glad that you have taken me under your wing…It’s not just the food, which is wonderful, but the extra mile that you all go for your clients.

More Than a Meal Study

Meals on Wheels of RI was honored to be one of the eight programs nationwide that participated in a study from Brown University’s Center for Gerontology and Healthcare Research. The study was funded by the AARP Foundation and designed by Kali Thomas, Ph.D., a former MOWRI volunteer and granddaughter of a MOWRI client. Read more about the study by clicking here.
